Canoeing and paddle boarding are the perfect way to get close to the wildlife and environment of the Broads, as you can explore parts of this superb waterland that other craft can’t get to quite as easily.
Bank Boats, a family run boatyard based at Wayford Bridge just down the canal from Canal Camping at Dilham, approximately half a mile by river, or about 3 miles by road from the campsite.
Open 9am- 5pm for canoe and kayak hire, as well as motor launches from our location on the river Ant.
Canoes cost £25 per canoe for 3 hours; £40 for 3-6 hours; or £50 for up to £24 hours, and can seat up to 3 people, although 4 if 2 of the party are small children.
Single person kayaks cost £20 for 3 hours; £35 for 3-6 hours; £50 for 24 hours.
All prices above include full instruction, buoyancy aids, dry bags/ barrels, and maps (plus security chains for the overnight hire).
The motor launches are fully weatherproof and seat up to 8 people. These cost:-
0-2 hours – £45
3 hours – £60
4 hours – £75
5 hours – £90
6-8 hours £120
