Sea Palling beach

Sea Palling is eight miles from the campsite, and this excellent dog-friendly sandy beach is the result of nine offshore reefs created as part of a flood defence scheme. This beach is ideal for families, especially ones who fancy stretching their legs and going for a cycle to and from the campsite. It is excellent in summer for swimming, kite surfing, surfing, wind surfing, kayaking, canoeing, beach games, boat-launching, as well as a pub, cafΓ© (which sells amazing fresh warm doughnuts) fish and chips, shops, toilets, disabled facilities, first-aid point, deck chair hire and an amusement arcade to keep you entertained. On your way into Sea Palling beach there is a corner store on the right that sells all the beach equipment you could ever need, so don’t panic should you have forgotten your bucket and spade! Opposite the store, you will see a white chalk sign of locally-caught fish, if you walk up past the sign, you will come to the shop on your right outside a private house. If you give a knock, they will be more than happy to sell you their extremely fresh and tasty produce. There is also a homemade fudge stall on your way to Waxham beach just past the entrance to Sea Palling on for the sweet toothed among you!
